The Alliance staff has a wide range of expertise that encompasses water quality and water conservation, invasive species and Great Lake restoration, education and environmental policy, communications and outreach, as well as legal and public outreach.
About 20 staff members work from our Chicago headquarters overlooking Lake Michigan and from locations in Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Milwaukee and Grand Haven, Mich. about our staff >

The Alliance is governed by a 24-member Board of Directors whose members hail from around the Great Lakes and boast a variety of expertises.
