SUMMARY:Webinar: Great Lakes Priorities in Washington\, DC - Ask Us Anything!
DESCRIPTION:It’s a busy time in Washington. Lawmakers and agency officials are drafting their budget proposals. Congressional committees are getting to work. And President Biden is scheduled to give his State of the Union address next week. Decisions are being made now that will impact the Great Lakes for generations to come. \n\n\n\nIn January\, our policy experts released their top 5 federal Great Lakes policy priorities. They focus on stopping invasive species\, fixing our failing water infrastructure\, stopping plastic pollution\, preventing harmful algal blooms\, and ensuring funding for Great Lakes restoration. Over the coming weeks\, our policy experts will meet with lawmakers to urge them to take action on these critical issues. \n\n\n\nWhat questions do you have about Great Lakes priorities in Washington\, DC? \n\n\n\nJoin our webinar conversation to ask your questions and learn more about our federal Great Lakes agenda. You can submit questions in advance (a link will be sent in your registration confirmation) or during the webinar. We’ll try to get to as many questions as possible during the event. \n\n\n\nRegister at https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_18KHsSrzSEOTogBxqWTjKg
