Katrina oversees the Alliance’s Salesforce database of more than 40,000 constituents who are the foundation of support for all program and fundraising efforts. She is also responsible for its integration with other tools from which information flows, administration of all database-related projects, and ensuring the integrity of the data in our systems. She supports all staff through leveraging our data to achieve our strategic goals.
Before joining the team, Katrina worked for Chemonics International, an international development organization in Washington, D.C. While there, she was involved in operations and fundraising and was a member of the “MEL” team (monitoring, evaluation and learning) which used metrics to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. Before that, Katrina was Database Administrator at Gigi’s Playhouse, a nonprofit that empowers individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Her experience includes database management and oversight, gift entry and acknowledgment processing, development of protocols to ensure data integrity, and training more than staff (including remote staff) on database management and social media.
Katrina earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Colorado College, and a Masters in international development from American University. Katrina is a native Chicagoan who enjoys having her heart broken by the Chicago Bears, snuggling with her dachshund, and kayaking the Great Lakes.
