Thanks to Great Lakes advocates like you, Congress recently passed legislation that rejected steep cuts and instead protected funding for programs critical to the health of our lakes and the people who depend on them. At the same time, the Great Lakes enter 2026 with a reduced federal presence due to program pullbacks and staff reductions.
