Join the Alliance for the Great Lakes on this webinar to learn how you can help to protect the Great Lakes this election season. The Great Lakes face many threats – from invasive species, to failing water infrastructure, to harmful algal blooms. To protect the lakes, we need to defend existing clean water laws while pushing for stronger, better protections for the world’s largest source of surface freshwater. But, that can’t happen without elected officials at all levels of government…

2018 September Adopt-a-Beach

Great Lakes beaches and shorelines are kept clean by volunteers like you. Big things happen when friends, families, and communities all around the region come together. Be a part of a movement 15,000 strong to make the Great Lakes beaches clean. Thousands of Adopt-a-Beach volunteers from all over the Great Lakes will take to their local shorelines on September 15th. You can find a cleanup near you at greatlakesadopt.org

The Great Lakes hold 20% of the earth’s surface freshwater and provide drinking water to 40 million people. Save the date for a fun evening celebrating our work to protect the lakes. This inaugural event includes drinks and a light dinner. All proceeds support the Alliance for the Great Lakes’ work.
