Senior Agriculture Policy Manager

As the Senior Agriculture Policy Manager, Angela addresses critical water quality challenges in the Great Lakes region, focusing on agriculture and source water policies and initiatives across Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin to support the Alliance’s water and agriculture goals. She collaborates with state and local decision-makers, stakeholders, and project partners to identify strategic opportunities that advance the Alliance’s mission.

Previously, Angela provided innovative solutions to strengthen agricultural policies and practices for Ohio farmers while promoting environmental sustainability and expanding local food access through her work with the Initiative for Food and AgriCultural Transformation (InFACT) at The Ohio State University. Prior to that, she worked in Fisheries Management & Research at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife, where she partnered with policymakers and conservation organizations on aquatic invasive species management in the Great Lakes, fostering cross-sector cooperation for environmental conservation.

A Navy veteran, Angela holds two degrees from The Ohio State University: a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Food Policy from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science from the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
