As Foundation & Corporate Giving Manager, Jon is responsible for generating revenue from institutional donors to implement protection of the Great Lakes and clean water. He works closely with all staff to translate program priorities, goals, and objectives into revenue-driving concepts. And he uses data-driven strategic approaches to forecast organizational growth.
Jon came to the Alliance in 2019 with more than 10 years of development and communications experience, most recently with Snow City Arts and Inspiration Corporation (where he’s been a volunteer cook for 18 years and counting). As someone who has lived almost his entire life within 10 miles of the Great Lakes, he is personally motivated by the organization’s work advocating and shaping policy. Jon earned his degree from Indiana University Bloomington, with a double major in Psychology and Theater. Jon is an original member of the Joseph Jefferson Committee Arts & Technical Team which judges theatrical productions all across the Chicago area. In his spare time he explores everything the city of Chicago has to offer with his wife and young daughter.
