Being a Team Leader is a fun and rewarding experience — and anyone can do it! By becoming a team leader, you will join a group of Great Lakes enthusiasts dedicated to their communities and the Great Lakes.
What is a Team Leader?
Being an Adopt-a-Beach Team Leader is all about connecting with people who love the Great Lakes as much as you do, and making a difference together. Start by going to greatlakesadopt.org to pick up out your beach and register your cleanup. Next, invite your family and friends, lead your cleanup event, and send us your data. We’ll give you all the tools, training, and support you need to make your event a success.
And you can go home knowing you did something great for the lakes!
So, what are you waiting for? We’ve put together some resources below to make your Adopt-a-Beach cleanup impactful and stress-free.
Being an Adopt-a-Beach Team Leader is fun and easy! Our Volunteer Manager, Tyrone Dobson, has a few tips and things to remember for your cleanup in this short training video. If you have any questions before your cleanup, feel free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
